PERSONAL FITNESS TRAINING
I work one to
one with clients, or occasionally with couples, to provide a complete
fitness training service. Initially an assessment and consultation
is carried out to ascertain the individual goals,
then a programme of exercise is designed. The emphasis is on working
with the individual to make the goals achievable, and to make the
exercise fun by varying the activities.
To allow you to understand the nature
of my work, exercise routines in the past have involved aerobic
work at home, hill walking, football, throwing / catching (for balance,
co-ordination and posture), rollerblading, tennis, basketball, resistance
work with weights (light), and toning.
I minimize the amount of equipment required by myself and my clients
in order to make the work outs more creative and hopefully more
fun.
It is not only the rich housewife
that employ's a personal trainer! My clients in the past have been
from varying backgrounds, and if cost is a restrictive factor then
I aim to design a programme which address' that issue. For example
some clients only have a session once a fortnight or once a month,
whereas others may decide 3 x per week is for them.
